Ever since I was a little girl, I have been captivated by natures rugged mountains, winding rivers, vast oceans, and lush forests! This awe has always fueled my creativity. After moving from Seward, AK to Prescott, AZ in 2020, I sought a fresh start with a career change. That's when I discovered glass and metalsmithing classes, eager to transform my love for the outdoors into tangible art. I began with silver smithing, blending mixed metals with natural stones to create pieces with an earthy organic feel. As I grew more confident, I explored  enameling, which was a blast!! Adding vibrant pops of color to the metals brought each piece to life!!

Over the years, I immersed myself in new techniques through retreats, online courses, and my evening classes at our local community college's jewelry program.  I took an array of enameling classes, sand and wax casting, etching, fusing, hydraulic press, and more. I also enjoyed experimenting with cement, wood, resin, and glass to incorporate unique elements into my work. Each piece captures the organic shapes, textures, and flowing movements of the landscapes that inspire me, like wearable slices of nature. Jewelry holds a special power, evoking memories of places, adventures, people or deep personal connections.

Now settled in the stunning San Juan Mountains, I'm thrilled to dive deeper into the techniques I've honed, inspired by this breathtaking landscape. I'm eager to create more jewelry that captures its beauty for you to wear and cherish.
