The Southwest desert, the San Juan Mountains, the Animas River, gardening, and Japanese art were central inspirations for Karyn Gabaldon, whose work explored the simplicity and complexity of interpreting nature and its magical moments.
"Clay taught me how to feel, Painting taught me how to see." Her artistic journey spanned over her entire life and her gallery was a downtown destination. She blended her life with the continual development of art, business, and community.
We open up her home studio for you to enjoy her body of work. There will be a limited quantity of Karyn’s original paintings from her personal collection in acrylic, oil, and watercolors, as well as prints on paper and metal available for purchase. Visitors will also be able to purchase pieces from her Asian Furniture collection as well as other art pieces from the gallery.
Karyn’s home studio is open by appointment throughout the year.
